Default fuel problem

Haven't started my boat in a while. Fuel pump wouldn't cycle on. Suspected it was gummed up . So replaced it. Pumped out old fuel put new gas in. And replaced fuel filter. New pump turns on but will not flow fuel through system I don't think. I think fuel should be coming back through in the return hose and it is not. I put a plug in the hole the return goes in the filter when I disconected the return so the pump was not cycling air.Think my hoses are shot or fuel.pressure regulator may be gummed up. What do you guys think. The new. Pump is definately working engine did fire for a second when I sprayed ether in the intake. So definately fuel problem

-What pressure are you reading on the rail when you turn the key on?
-Have you checked the lines from the tank supply all the way to the return if that is what you suspect?
-Have you checked the fuel seperator?
-You suspect it was gummed up, how long has it been sitting? What did the fuel smell like? If you found gum in the lines, your injectors are clogged too
-Did you check the relays for the fuel pump?
-Is the ignition kill up front flipped?
- Lots of possibilities

The gas I took out was green . Made a clear coke bottle look like a green mountain dew bottle when I put some gas in it. Put fresh gas in and when crank it it sounds like it wants to fire . It fires for a second when I spray a little ether. Fuel pressure gauge broke but fuel sprays like hell when I when I depress the fitting under the intake. Ran great about a year ago before I let it sit.

Well you have pressure at the rail but injectors not firing. You need a scanner at this point to determine if it is an efi issue, wiring etc..
