I have friends that build boats and have a friend that worked at Skater for a long time! Both are familiar with Powerquest and knew the owners. I would say no. Nothing has ever been mentioned about them doing that. But I could be wrong...

All PQs were hand laid...last time I was at the factory Phill was building the first vacoum bagged hull..a 320 cruiser but never finished it..

I was told vacuum bagging was the best way to ensure that the balsa core would not be compromised if a leak into the core were ever to occur. Powerquest must do something right because I have never heard of a hull failure like we seem in some other cored hulls. One of the main reasons I went with the Avenger!
