Dupli-color Candy Apples
#1
Has any one used the new Dupli-Color candy apples yet. I know they are lacquer based and that really concerns me. How well does it hold up? It looks really easy to get great results. Ive been spraying PPG DCB for years but I'm looking for a cheap alternative for a small project I'm working on.

If you need small quantities try this place.
Plenty of candies in small bottles. Look at H o K candy concentrates, you can mix them in a inter coat clear or any of ppg's clears.

I have not tried the duplicolor stuff yet but I gave up on the House of Kolor stuff. after valspar bought them they started adding so much filler that I have to put 20 coats on to get the color right. they said they "reduced the price to make it more cost attractive" but when you have to use four times the amount it was costing way more. I dont know on the duplicolor stuff but sometimes the cheaper stuff costs more in the long run. so far the PPG stuff has been consistant quality.
