Default NE Folks: looking for used Volvo Penta motor

I've got an o7 5.0 volvo penta carb motor (220hp) and looking to upgrade....

let me know if you have a drop in motor that you want to sell to mate up to my stock sxa outdrive.

Or if you have an efi system from the manifold up, I'll take that....

thanks! from NH

I don't think my little sxa will handle a bigblock, plus I'm lacking the big block. I either need a complete motor or a EFI setup i can bolt up to my 5L sbc.

thanks for the reply though. Have a great christmas.

Very observant. Ha, actually, I had several MK4 supras. Last one was mild, 630WHP, 29PSI on 3L.... but then I had kids, house, dog.... livin the dream

so about that big block.... I don't want to turn this boat into a fabrication adventure (that's why I stopped building supras) - I would assume that big block would be faaaar from bolt-in to the hull/outdrive.

???

Actually it would pretty much drop in, same bell housing, coupler, mounts, only thing I don't have but I'm sure I can come up with would be the exhaust manifolds

So did I..small world

Boats are more fun!

I still want another pristine 98...best cars I've ever owned...but...prices are still ridiculous, or the cars are beat to hell, anyway, good deal!

Cool, what did you have? I might know you either from SF or just around. I actually keep a simmering search for a supra, but probablyl won't go there again..... I've been trying to find a replacement that stands up to it and I haven't found anything that turns me on just yet.

Anyway regarding the big block, that sounds killer, I'll call.
