Default Yesterday's Panic stop in my SRW!

We were hauling a load of cars in ohio on a 2 lane 55mph road in the rain. No cars were in front of us but as we passed a group of 3 or 4 cars one of them decided they needed to slam on their brakes. This is what came at me. All I could think about was the terminator movie! We are very lucky this fuel tanker did not slide completly sideways and tip over on us, or us running into the side!

Where the picture is taken is where we ended up, stright and safe, after my panic stop! The Tanker and I came to a hault about the same time. Kristy says "you got mad trucker skills Kevin! good driving!".

We don't have to debate DRW vs SRW, just happy that we are safe. Wish we did not need stuff like this to happen to remember how lucky we all are in life.

Here are some pics of my rig also...http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/t...stalled-2.html

Looks like the truck driver was just checking his trailers brake lights.

That's scary. I'm trying to evision what I'd be thinking right about the time I started to lose it if I was driving a truck with 10,000 gal of gasoline.

Merry Christmas Everyone.

I want to know why the Jackleg slammed on his brakes....but I guess we'll never know. Thank goodness it wasn't a crispy situation.
