Default Christmas Eve day at Boca Grande lighthouse & beach

Another bright sunny day here in SW Florida. 82 degrees today, but an extremely low
tide, so we could not get the boats of the lifts. Instead we took the car to the beach,
absolutely beautiful.

Here are a few pictures from earlier today/

Must have been there about the same time, 3-4 pm? The dolphins were swimming right along the shore scooping up the fish.

Those two side by side, are the lighthouse and the old keepers quarters.

The island does have year round residents, but many of the higher end, bay and Gulf front homes, are weekend and seasonal getaways.

We were there 12:00-3 or so, but dolphins everywhere, which is somewhat normal for this time of year.
