Beautiful boat and apparently a great performer. Much was written on here about this boat years ago but I imagine a lot of it has been lost. Maybe Nauti Kitty will chime in, he is probably the best source.

It's a 39 and was originally a triple boat. It was converted to a stagger #6 boat some time ago. Nauti Kitty on the board used to own it at some point and time. I've been told there's alot of stress cracks in it for some reason.

That was mine and it is for sale in the Powerquest auction coming up on the 17th of this month
I bought it from the original owner in Florida who did have it changed from a triple 500hp boat to a staggered #6 with 950 Cheifs. It ran 105
I took the motors out and sold it to the infamous Fred "Trick Marine" Cecil and as far as I know he never had the boat in the water. He sold it to a guy in Michigan and it came back to a guy named Phil Hall for motors. He is the individual that bought Powerquest and pimped a whole bunch of banks. Hence the auction. I am again fairly confident it never saw the water and not sure how it ended up in the auction but I do remember it being in Phils shop unrigged for a few years before it got moved to Powerquest where it sat for another few years.
I believe it hasnt seen the water since I owned it and that was in 2000. I only put 50 hours on it tops when I owned it
Not sure about any surface cracks

39 Sutphen , Excellent rough water boat, non vented hull, wet sump #6 drives, over 100 MPH doesn't seem to bad. I always heard it would run around 110 MPH in salt water back in the day. Still would make it one of the fastest Sutphen's ever built. Just my own thought.
