Give Brian @ Offshore Outdrives a call and im sure he can shed some light on it for you...his # is 954 448 4478...He works on my Imco drive and does great work and does many of the race boat drives also...

Need the special socket to fit the retainer nut. Not a hard job, just takes a little time. Gotta have a manual to walk your thru it.

Found a shop here local that said he can do it for around $400. Tear dwn the lower unit, replace all the seals. I think he said there were 4 or 5 seals and make sure everything else looks good. Sound about right to you guys?. Thx
