I know there are a lot of superboat race hulls on the website...where are they all??!! would love to find an older one for restoration, or a y2k with no power.

When it comes to Superboats, there really isn't much of a difference between a "race" and a pleasure boat. My pleasure boat has the race construction. I suppose if I added some controls to the passenger side and the cockpit insert, it wouldn't be any different than a race boat.

I'm guessing around 50% of the Y2Ks where built with the "race" layup. But, according to the website, the standard layup is the way all the race boats used to be made. Most of the pre-Y2K 30's are OB models.
