Bought a 2002 Lavey 29 Nuera last month (Christmas present?) and headed to Havasu Late Feb early March for our first trip!! Any other Lavey owners in Colorado? haha I think we may be the only one!

If you wait until April 20 - 27(ish, check the dates to be sure), the best boating week at Havasu will be in full swing! Starts with the LHC Boat show, accompanied by the Pacifif Offshore Powerboat Racing Association races and Unlimited Lights races. Allthru the week are boating centered events, make-a-wish foundation rides, Desert Storm street party with over a billion dollars of private boats lining the street, the Desert Storm Poker Run on Friday and then the Shootout on Saturday (again, check the dates). You will not EVER have more fun boating at Havasu than during that week!

Very true! In my opinion if I were to goto Havasu only one time a year, it would be the week of Desert Storm Poker Run. This is the week ALL the big boys come out from all over the country! Always a fun time!!
I'm pretty sure the dates this year are April 21-30.
