Thumbs up New York Boat Show Photos and More !

I ventured into New York City yesterday to attend the NY Boat Show.
People I had spoken with all seem to be having a decent show and some boats were selling. Providing I was getting solid information, I would venture to say that the market just might be starting to make a turn...
It may not be a hard and fast turn, but at least it appears to be making a turn. Hopefully it stays the course.

The size of this year's show had to have been the smallest I have seen yet! Word on the street was space was available and special offerings were being made. Just looking at the size of the Formula Booth and you could see they took advantage of every inch given to them....

I purposely came in late on Saturday to avoid the possibility of a heavy crowd. Tough to get photos when the show is too busy.

All photos are now online at: http://www.Sharkey-Images.com/

That Glastron looks like the boat that hit the barge wake on the last Hudson run.

Everything I have is already loaded into the Gallery.

I wish I could say there was more, but the show really has got so small over the years.

This was probably the only offshore performance pleasure there and it was squeezed inside the big boats...

It was quiet but I got in late on Saturday. 5:30. I really didn't want to be trying to shoot while the crowds were there. Many people said there was a lot of traffic. The more serious buyers came during the week. The weekend tends to be more for people looking for something to do. Not to say some deals weren't being done on Saturday as I did witness someone signing their papers for a new boat.

As I was coming in on the ferry, the return ferries were packed.

Today I am sure was a bit slow with the Giants Game today....
