anyone used aeromarine epoxy resin

Haven't had a chance to yet, got a link and info? I have been pretty happy with 635 from uscomposites.com for most projects but just picked up a 55'er drum of Adtechs ProTech for a couple big jobs i have in the shop. Expensive but no where as ridiculous as West's.

yes, epoxy always must be sanded blush or not. What are you working on?

make sure you use a bi ax fabric with no mat (no 1808 with epoxy), makes the job way easier to wet out. Personally, unless its a high stress or race layup i would use vinylester.

I have built three boats with West system, and I am building my fourth with Aeromarine epoxy. It is every bit as good as West and a whole lot cheaper with fair freight charges. I bought two gallons of gelcoat and a gallon of Duretec from US Composites, and they charged me $67 in UPS for regular ground to Colorado. Last time that I will deal with them!
I use the 321 hardner with the Aeromarine epoxy. There is no amine blush and it is crystal clear. Also the pot life is extended over West. The Aeromarine is just a little more than vinylester in cost so I highly recommend it.
