Default Chicago Boat Show

Anyone going? Was thinking about making the trip up from Indy. Looks like Formula will be the only performance manufacturer there? Is there still a Cigarette dealer up there?

There's not a Cigarette dealer up there anymore.

Thought Grand Sport was a Cig dealer ?? They always have a booth at the show but only bring one Top Gun.

In the past the Formula dealer onl brought a basic 311 on the sport side, rest were crusiers, etc. In lookin at the exhibitor list, there will be no performance boats there.
Go to www.chicagoboatshow.com to see.
I can about guarantee it certainly won't be worth the trip from Indy. I live 40 miles away, worked the show for many years, and havn't even went in last 2 years it's changed so much.

I was told it sucks again. The Munson brothers and Moulis are the biggest dealers and nobody has anything that resembles a performance boat. There is a Yellowfin CC with 3x but thats it. I remeber the good old days when that show took up every inch of 2 floors.

Went about 3 years ago and it kinda sucked. I probably won't go again. I want to see fast boats...not pontoons and Bass trackers

I went and I enjoyed it. Only performance boat there was the Miss Geico MTI. I drove 4+ hours each way and got a hotel room.

I'm not a fan of center consoles but I noticed the aluminum trailer the YellowFin was on was extremely nice and well built. I also noticed the Floe Craft ACE 36. Kinda ugly but has a lot of really cool features that I thought were great ideas.
