Never been but we are coming down this year to the show. Where is a nice place with beach access that is somewhat reasonable. By reasonable I mean not the Setai at $875 a night lol. I'm ok with 300 or so a night. Would like to be able ot walk or catch a short shuttle. I am completely blind to the miami area so I appreciate any help.

You can check VRBO and look at the shelborne. its an OK place for 200 a night

And topless beach close I hope?

Beach Plaza Hotel on Collins, not fancy but within walking distance of all the hot spots.

Stay in deerfield beach,,way cheaper then miami or ft lauderdale...it also has a nice choice of resturants and most hotels are a spitting distance from the beach...their is also a fishing pier their just incase you want to throw a line at night,,the water is also lit up as well..google it, hillsburo blvd and a1a,,its a real nice area and was cheap as hell when hanson ans grettles was their..i think i paid 50 bucks a night for a kitchenet but that place was tore down years ago and some condos were put in its spot,,Drag the little yellow guy to the A and search the area..

maybe check out the Hilton downtown Miami. Reasonable, overlooks Biscayne bay and just a quick jump across the causeway to the beach.

Booked plane tickets.... We will be there from the 15-19. Now we are just looking for somewhere to stay. Looks like my price range was a little ridiculous. We are looking at the Shelbourne now.

It's old but it's clean and reasonable. That would put you on the ICW about 30 min down I-95 from the convention center. If you come by boat, they are at the Atlantic Blvd bridge just south of Hillsboro Inlet. They have a waterfront bar and a fuel dock..."Real" gasoline and Diesel. It's walking distance from the beach and close to some decent waterfront restaurants like Houston's.

I will check and see what kind of deal I can get on one or a block of rooms. You would fly into Ft. Lauderdale or West Palm Beach.
