Default twin vs triple 43

Was just looking through the classifieds and noticed some are twins and some are triples. Which boat runs better? Are the triples stern heavy? What are the speed differences?

Just Curious!

Had trip 525's in my 43 & would C 90 on a good day!, ITS w/ sportmasters! rode in a twin semi stag 700 43 & was told it will run 91-93ish! I imagine less total weight, surface piercing # 6 style props! That's what I got 4 ya Josh!!!

the majority of the time you add a trip motor you have additional drag, maint...and is usually good for 10-12mph..

I like the stagg set up..

I bet the accelleration with trip 700's is pretty awesome, even if it is only 12 ish mph faster.
