Default Miami boat show question

First timer here so need some help.

Booking my room today.....where should I book. Not the hotel but the area, the show is in the 3 loctions, which has the best ” action” or fun. Found a hotel in each area but don't know which to book.

Staying fri-sun and doing some partying too. Found one on collins ave next to the convention center and that seems to make the most sense but thought I would ask the pros.

Thanks guys.

We stayed at the Shelborne on Collins. Easy walk to the Convention Center and easy walk to bars in the evening.

Stay close to the convention center; right there in SoBe somewhere. It's where you will spend the most time.

South Beach. Ocean, Collins somewhere in the area between the convention center and the ocean. Ocean and Collins Drives have the boutique hotels from 16th-6th street give or take and from 16th up you have all the larger Deco resort hotels.
You could stay by the "in water" part but all the action is in South Beach.

We are staying a few blocks from the convention center. Seems to be walking distance or a short bus/cab ride to pretty much everything.
