To business owners or persons dealing with financials of a company out there:

I received a fax from a company using the cover of EQUIFAX credit scores.

They will ask for bank information claiming that a Government entity is attempting to check your credit score in order to award work to your company.

I found this odd right off the start and contacted one of our banks. They in fact confirmed this was a scam.

Just a heads up as I figure most are conscious enough to smell this one a mile away. I hope no one falls for this one.
