I have a 26 foot Chris Craft Stinger - that has seen better days for the finish.
I received a quote to have the boat completely wet sanded - but am not sure if this is the way to go, as there are some gouges that need to be repaired.
I was/am interested in getting the boat painted - but am not sure of what the cost would be. I have seen many posts that discuss painting - but not the cost. Is there an "average" for a complete paint job on a 26 footer with and 8.5 foot beam?

You would likely be in the seven to eight thousand range for a nice quality refresh with average repairs. If it was anything like my old 260 Stinger the buff jobs dont last long. Heck i swear mine faded before i was finished with one side lol.

Check with Mitcher T. Custom Painting, you can find them on the WEB. I got a half dozen quotes from different boat repair shops to just change colors on existing strips and everyone was crazy high. Mitch was less money for an amazing paint job. He did an amazing job and it's held up real well, I'm going on my third season and it still looks new.

Make sure piping etc is proper in the wall .That may create a problem in the end. So make sure you provide the right materiel its one time investment.

I had my boat wrapped a couple years ago and it ran about $2000 installed. It was a much cheaper option than having the boat painted which was $3000++
