Don't think Ill be able to bring back the color out of my gelcoat. To many years left in the sun by the previous owner. I am in Charlotte. Any recommendation s of good painters in the area? It is a Hallett 300.

I would start with a DA hook it 1000,,i use this compound called aqua buff, comes in 1000 and 2000 grit.. or if you just want to see how it turns out sand it with 1000 and get some comet kitchen clenser and wet the area and sprinkle some on and buff away and see how that works before you spend the money on aqua buff..

I have never used Aqua Buff how does it compare to 3M Super duty rubbing compound? I wet sand with 1000 grit and cut with 3M super duty
