My 33 Powerplay has 1:36 -1 Bravo 1's and 24 Bravo1 four blades she takes a while to spool up. She will get up low to 60's fast enough but than it takes awhile to pick up more speed. So my question is you guys with a 33 running between 450 -500 hp and Bravos, what gears are you running 1:50 or 1:36 and what props. What kinds of speed in that 4800 -5000 range. Trying to see what other 33 Powerplays are running. Thinking of changing upper gears to 1:50.
I have a set of 23 & 25 three blades, the 23's the boats like a rocket but they blow out and the ride not so great. The 3 blades don't carry the bow as well and vibrate.

On the 33 with 500s 1.5 gear ratio,26-28 4 blade bravo 1 5100-5300 should put you around 80,the hydromotive 4blades also work well just depends on the x-dimension,the newer ones 99-up had higher x and the hydros had a hard time coming on plane, the 33 is a great boat have owned several and have repowered several

I have a 33CC with 502's and 1.5 ratio. Im running Bravo 4 blade 26 props turning out with max. RPM's at 4,600. I thought I should be at 5-5200 rpm's at full trim. Anyone with similar setup have any input? Thanks

I spun mine in, the boat was faster and carried the bow better with less trim. It used to walk a little but I needed a couple RPM's so I sent my props to brett at blades to lab them and told him that I wanted to spin the props in and what my problems were. When I put them back on, the boat was on rails. Also, its a straight bottom vee, if it doesnt feel loose then its prolly pretty damn slow, let the bow fly.
