I'm intrested in buying a 32 fountain fever I found, its in really nice shape with 300hrs. It has twin hp500 mercs the blue ones and bravo drives with hydraulic steering and 30p 4 blades. What do you guys think the boat is worth in this market and how do you think the boat will ride,run in the inner bay of lake erie. Thanks

30-35 with trailer. Will ride good to 3ft's then a bit bumpy from there. Erie can get awful rough but for the most part, you should be fine.

Not a fan of the ride, but really comes down to preference. The boat drives like its on rails. Have seen a few hook violently at slower speeds when they hit a wake at the wrong angle. A lot of them have sunk because of the way it sits in the water and the bilge vent design. I think the hull may have a wood core, but not 100% sure. A lot of other builders use a solid fiberglass hull with no core.

Cabin is not very useable IMO.

I would be very sure to get a survey! A friend of mine bought one last year and thought he got a heck of a deal only to find that the transom was wet due to the way it sets in the water. He has a real nice boat now, but only after a complete transom replacement. Also at 300 hours, if the 500s haven't been worked on, its probably time for a top end refresh. 3 of my boating friends have fountains, a 29, 32 and 35. I personally like driving the 35 the best, but they are all nice rides. Just my .02

I would bet mid 30's to 40's depending on condition,hrs,ect .A 32 on Erie is more then adequate......i use to run 25 miles to pib in a 24 without worry. If it builds then ya it kinda sucks but unless you have a freighter your going to feel it. Erie's a ***** when shes mad. But there are few greater places to get stuck then the islands!!! Get a survey!

If it hasn't had valve springs done yet it's due for them. That'll be 2k or so probably.

If it's in great shape I'd think mid to high 30's?
