I have a stock 500 EFI with CMI wet headers. Will I have a noise problem at Havasu? I have been reading about people being tested when they are putting in. I'm headed down from Colorado in a week or two and don't want to get there and have a water cop say my boat is to loud and wreck my week. Or do I just need to put a set of mufflers on. If so what brand do you recommend?

with it being kinda cold their this time of the year i dont think you will have any problems but you never know..their are alot of boats that run their with no mufflers so i dont think you will have any problems.

You won't have any trouble. Havasu Marina is the only one that used to test, and they haven't tested me in 2 years. Launch at Windsor and you won't have any trouble at all.

Yeah, Im pretty sure things are really quiet down there right now...Havasu doesnt really "get going" until April. Right now you might have most of the lake to yourself.
