Trophy engine change
I have a 2006 Trophy 2352 which I intend to swop out engines to give me a little more power to "get out of the hole".
Currently it runs a Mercruiser 5.0MPI with an Alpha 1
I'm looking to change it to a Mercruiser MX 6.2MPI which will give me 320hp verses the 260hp I currently have. I know it's a straight drop in regards the engine installation, but I need a little advise on the outdrive.
I'm concidering utilizing the current Alpha 1 drive, which runs well. But will it be good for the extra hp which this new unit develops. The 6.2MPI would usually drive a Bravo 1, would I be better off changing this as well?
