Wow, six events already and it's only the first week of March.

Much of that fun is due to Ft Myers Offshore, and yesterday was another great time with the group as they ran to Useppa Island for lunch.

For me it started at the Sanibel Pier to shoot the start of the run. Then I drove up to Captiva and Bob came over to the Green Flash and picked me up after dropping his crew.

After lunch Bob led the guys on a trip to Matlach. That run is always a blast... lots of twists and turns- like a road course. I shot 1500 frames over the course of the day, so there is plenty of evidence. As always, it was a blast. Great to see everyone again.

This first one is the startup at the Sanibel Causeway as the guys head for me to do a flyby. The water at the pier was very muddy so nothing was biting. Unlike last time, we didn't pizz off any of the fisherpeoples. I think they actually enjoyed the show.

There weren't as many cats in this run as we normally get. Frank had some mechanical issues with an engine so he had to bag it with his Skater. We had a couple of Spectres, an MTI and a Nor-Tech (I think).

A few of us Cats had to take the weekend off just to make the Vee bottoms feel better...... We will be back for the next run! :
