Default Painting wind faring on my 24?

I want to paint my faring from black to white, The faring is glued/5200? on, can I paint it on the boat or does it have to come off?

The 24 (1998) I had, had snaps for the cockpit cover going around the fairing. I believe the screws for the snaps was also what secured the fairing, and then it was caulked around the seam.

I always wanted to take it off to paint the inside but was afriad i would have trouble getting back on right.

If you are painting the outside, you can probably do it without taking it off.

My pantera screen was attached w screws and what looked like 5200.
It came off ok with two people lifting on it.
