Default Merc 565's recalled?

I heard that all four of the in-water Mercury 565's (Formula and Nor-Tech) have been removed from the boats and sent back to Mercury. I noticed that the engines in the Formula had "Void" stickers on them. Were these engines pre-production models, or is there an issue?

Guessing they need to go find 5 HP to match Ilmor,

.... or 10 to "beat" them.

Red face Stupid reply

Sorry my bad! Was not trying to kill the industry. I am sure Mercury Racing will make a fine fix and at least they are trying to make a product right! I salute them for that!
I did not ask the question I was just making stupid conversation, you're right I should stop that!

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

Guys posting negative rumors instead of making a phone call and guys posting negative comments on rumors don't help manufactures, engine builders and other companies in an industry trying to survive. If we love the sport we need to try to help it not destroy it. Rant Over.

P.S. Thanks Ray.
