It was priced just below $20,000 and powered by a Scorpion. This was Ocke Mannerfelt's personal boat, and the only Swedish-built 24' Batboat brought in to the US as far as I know. I was thinking about picking it up as a restoration project for a Ilmor MV8-570 smallblock, but waited too long. Someone got a nice package.

I also looked at it a couple of years back (not in person, just with pics), and it was in very rough condition, although it certainly could have been brought back with some time and some $$$.
It would be awesome to see one with one of the new Ilmore small blocks in it. I bet that it would really get with the program!
I see there is a 28 on the east coast with a whippled big block in it. I have pics if you have any interest.

I figured it to be a fixer-upper, but having been built in Sweden, it would have good bones (lightweight/bagged construction). I have an extra DPX drive package, so I would have sold off the Scorpion/Bravo package and re-rigged it from scratch. The wing was going to cost about $1500 - I priced it out. I just hope that the new owner does it up right.
