Default Iwata Gun

I droped my Old Reliable SATA 2000 last week and broke the quick connect coupler. So i called my paint rep and he brings me this new IWATA gun thats suppost to be a hot ticket. Its the new Supernova LS400 designed by Pininfarina. It looks cool and is light weight and nice and expencive....But I think it sucks. I called him friday after spraying 4 cars with it and told him to order me the new SATA 4000. LOL. All my airbrushs are Iwata revolutions and eclipces. thay are great. Not a big fan of the big guns. SATA is tryed and tru and ill stick with that.

I had a demo Iwata and used it on and off for a month. I gave it back and still use my Sata NR95's and Jet 90's. Never found a reson to replace them yet and they just won't wear out. Jeff Wurl

Thay definatly dont wear out. My 2000 and RP digital are 8 years old. I average over 700 jobs per year. Thats over 5500 cars that thoes guns have painted and i have only rebuilt them 3 times. Thats gettin your moneys worth right there. LOL. our avg job gross is $4000 thats $22,000,000+ gross in the past 8 years thoes guns have made us. Thats a good product!!!!!!!!

The new 4000 s are nice. I like the rp in a 1.2 for clear and the hvlp in a 1.3 for base

It is sad to admit this but I still use my NR95 daily I bought in 1998, never had to rebuild it. Only thing I have done is replace a packing bering. Have 2 new Iwata, 1 RP, 1 2000. Sealer, base and clear with the 95. Best gun I have ever had!!! I did have a Mattson Atomizer and will admit it is the BEST spraying gun I ever had but pain in the ass to clean, expensive, and no parts available...

Ive heard good stuff about the atomizer but never used one. I use a 2000 hvlp with a 1.4 tip for base. "Spies is so thick the 1.4 is a must" and I use a RP digital with a 1.3 for clear. Im anxious to get my new sata. Cant wait to try it out.
