Does anyone know if the West Coast Customs labeled speakers are made by DC Gold? Aluminum speaker cones, separate crossoversand 1" dome tweets that look pretty close to the Bab/DC Golds?

Local Best Buy had a clearance sale on West Coast Custom aluminum coned 6x9's and 6 1/2's, something like $59 instead of $199.

Has anyone seen the WCC or better yet listened to them.,

No diamond is very nice the high end stuff is as good or better then focal. Handle to. Of power. Their entry is pretty good. Like the high end kicker.
Their high end amps are amazing. Any of those on sale?

No, didn't see any of their amps. The WCC stuff at Best Buy is by Diamond Audio, quality looks decent, 6.5s, 5 x 8s, and 6 x 9s are all convertible from separates to component other than the crossover being separate. Best Buy reg price was $199 all on clearance for $49, if they last a year or two I'll be happy.

How much sound difference should be expected 6.5s vs. 6 x 9s? Now I just need tofind a couple of 10 subs for under back seat.

6x9 are far better for bass and mid range. Larger package so you if you have the space go for it.

We'll have do agree to disagree Focal K2s are rather nice.

Yes the focals are some of my favorite. They did a comparo a few years ago and what was then called diamonds hex version was equal to their sound quality but far superior to them in power handling. I have installed both and the diamonds just don't blow.
Focal has done a far better job in marketing and are far better known.

Having 2 bad Babbs 6x9's, figured what the heck, be a cheap replacement. Went to my BB to purchase a set today. Was told that our BB hasn't carried the WC line in over a yr. because of no interest in them.

Most stores don't carry them. Or never did, they were really only ever stocked on the coast.
