Default New boat speed questions

Recently picked up a 84 38 scarab. This is a straight v no notch no step hull, and is the raised deck variation. Boat has some 800's in it, with trs drives (for now) I know time bomb. Anyways speed predictions with this hull and power. 6's will be an upcoming upgrade. I thought this would get more attention here than in the scarab forum. Thanks!!!

I ran a 78 30' with twin 468's maybe making 550 with small blowers and got 80-82 out of it on her best day

No way 90's. I'd say low 80's at best... probably upper 70's.

Really? I was thinking mid eighty's...... twin 800's is some decent power. What would be the limiting issues? Obviously no step or notch, but are they heavy, or poor hull design? Thanks guys, just trying to learn. I also have a 86 formula 357 with 600's and it runs 71 gps. I figured the scarab to be a faster/lighter hull and with 800's to be signifacantly faster.
