Default Exhaust tips questions.

So if you buy a boat that has the muffler tips, and are going to take them off for some strait pipes/ slash cuts.

they sell them in different lenghts. does the lenght make it louder getting the sound out from under the platform? or quiter?

The difference I'm sure for looks more tyhan anything else. There may be some small differences due to the platform.

outside the boat the length makes no difference, inside the boat the shorter they are under the swim platform the quieter it will be inside the boat, the swim platform quiets it down alot so moving them out farther towards the end wil increase inside boat, i had the shortest tips from imco on my hammer, slash cut, and always had people saying how loud it was when from inside the boat it seemed quiet, i also had dana exhaust
