Default 33 Outlaw sea water pump

Ok I am having some trouble getting to the sea water pump on my port engine on my 33 outlaw with 496's so I can change my impeller are there any tricks to getting it out any help would be greatly appreciated

Do you have the seat back cushion out ?

If not, take it out....that makes it much easier to deal with.

For me it was easier to disconnect the inlet hose from the transom and pull the whole thing out along with the hose. Is there an easy way to remove the cushion out? I looked at that option but didn`t see an easy way to do it.

Worked on a friend's boat and this was no easy task. It took a while, but we got to both of them with the backseat in, and just removed the pump.

There's 2 screws that come up throught the seat base
and there's 2 screws that come in from the side
( you have to remove the air intake grills to gain access to
them)
