Default Catamaran or Deep V?

So I always ask this question and I know it all depends on the certain conditions you boat in whether it's a lake or ocean but overall, what is THE BEST choice...cat or V? I know there have been other threads on the same question too but i never got a clear answer I'm prepared to read a lot of arguments in response...

There really is no "BEST OVER ALL" choice. Its what you want to get out of boating that fits your style.

DT, it could be, but I'm not quite ready to throw the flag yet... I'm still waiting for some of the telltale signs.

How deep are your pockets? Before you consider a cat check out what your insurance will cost, if you can even find a carrier assuming you would be a first time cat owner? That alone might sway your decision. IMO a cat is a better ride.

Don't worry, I'm only 14, I don't plan on buying my dream 50' Mystic for a while but you do have a good point. And don't worry Kreed, we wont be selling the cafe for a LONG time
