Not sure which Championship they think that boat ever won! It's the XSMG and let's just say it's not the biggest commercial success! That project has cost it's investors a lot of pounds!

Thats my favorite show, me and the GF watch all the time. Anything they do with a boat is particularly great. Saw Steve Curtis on an early episode when hung an outboard on a Toyota pickup lol. The American version sucks though.

Not really sure what to make of the XSMG. To me, it tries to be too many things at once and hype itself too much. I have no idea what kind of diesel power is in it, but 80 knots or 92 mph is not that impressive imo. I'm not talking about the speed vs. power, just 92 mph does not really get me going. I've never seen one in real life, so it's just my opinion based on the show and what I was able to find on the web. That 365 however, droooooool!!!

Well if you run 92 for Hours like they did here on the show ( or less as you'll find out) who cares about top speed, No Endurance race is about top speed, thats why an Apache41 won (finally) the Cowes Torquay Cowes Race recently...before that the Red FPT aka Buzzis 55' Diesel CESA 1882 which kills Any Top speed runner (plus Buzzis La Gran Argentina) (and Apaches) when the going gets tough...

Thenagain I also like US Top Gear sometimes more than the British.. for example the Run from Miami to Key West.. a Donzi 38 vs a Lotus and a Seaplane... the Seaplane won
We got 50 degrees here tops as we speak and spotted a Lotus like that Yesterday twice...top was up
