My son just turned four months and i do have a lfe jacket that i spent some good money on to be able to takehim out with us. Just curious as when is to young to take him on the boat. When did everybody else start out the young ones. Im kinda skeptical but the wife is all excited to get him on his first boat ride. I thought it would be the other way around with me trying to get him in their. Planning an easy cruise down the intercoastal to caps for lunch with two other boats. Is it a little to early?? PLease go easy. Just looking for some opinions

3 months with the oldest, and 4 months with the youngest. Bought infant life jackets they worked fine. My girls know the boating life from a very early age....

I was 7 months on my parents first boat. It was a 19 foot wellcraft cuddy cabin in lake michigan. It would have been sooner but i was born in december. My parents friend took their two week old on a 27 fountain.

Looks like Im the opposite side of the coin. My wife (now ex wife!!) made me sell my boat when we found out we were pregnant!! I had to sell her on getting another one when my daughter was 4 YEARS old!! That was 11 years ago! My daughter is a total fish now and loves boating so it all worked out but that was the LONGEST 4 years of my life! Seriously!
