I know this may not necessarily be performance boat related. I will be heading to nassau in April and will have the privilege of being on a friends boat. We will be able to do some cruising of the smaller islands. Only there for five days what are some cool off the beaten places to go or in you're opinion "must do's"? Trying to put together an itinerary. any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Harbour Island! By far my favorite island in the Bahamas, some great beach resorts to spend the day (pink sands and coral sands) and some great island bars (gusty's). There are also some great restaurants, I met Dave Matthews at Rock House. Valentines Marina is nice, and you can rent golf carts to get around there. I spent 10 weeks cruising the Bahamas and Eluthra and it was my favorite.
Another pretty cool place is Staniel Cay, they have a cool little bar, and there are swimming pigs.
Lots of boats anchor out in the bay for the night, and depending on when you are there, there is a full moon party right on the beach and everyone from all the yachts and sailboats come out for the party. Thunderball cave from James Bond is also there, and definitely cool to snorkel it.
As far as a very cool little marina the place to go is Compass Cay. Compass Cay has nurse sharks you can pet, and the water is so nice you can actually snorkel in the marina, very close nit, every night all the people at the marina come out and have dinner and drinks together pot luck style on the dock.
You will have a great time, there are places all within a pretty close distance. Just make sure you call ahead because depending on the time of year, they do fill up.

Head down through the Exumas and stop and see KB at Chat n Chill.
Not sure when you are going but the cruising regatta is coming up the beginning of April and then the end of April is the Family islands Regatta so lodging options will be thin in Georgetown.
