IMO its the Eliminator 26 foot cat. With a 496 mag HO it will run 80 mph effortlessly. I dont know what the top speed would be with a 525 but I wouldnt be suprised to see close to 85-90 with that package.

In a V hull I know the 25 foot Nordic Rage will run 75 mph with a 496 mag ho. Again, not sure with a 525 but I guess close to 80 mph.

Between the 2 its the Eliminator hands down--very stable at speed.

There are simply too many variables and the best for one person is not the best for another.

Plus many more...he needs to be more specific in order to help.

I see his sig says Long Island, maybe we can assume he'll be running the Sound or Atlantic, or GSB? If so, the Nordic or Eliminator in the second post won't cut it.

Oh, this should be good.

Not claiming it's the "best", but this is what I have.

30' Superboat Y2K w/525. It will run 80, great in rough or flat water, decent cockpit space, huge cabin, 32' LOA, reasonably priced, and can be built exactly to your specifications.

This guy must be new here, everyone knows that by asking this you just get a bunch of single engine owners saying that their hull is best.

Lets be serious, Kryptonite 29' all the way for a single engine sit down.
