Default Finally got the new shop going up! TOYBOX

Well about a year ago I started a thread that I was building a new shop for the boat. Business got busy and I never got around to it. In October we bought a new 16,000 sqft facility that one end had been a truck shop. I have claimed 1620 sqft for my toybox. The area I am partitioning is 60ft deep and 27ft wide. It has a car lift left in it and lots of storage. I was also left with a good bit of mechanic nuts and bolts. I will post photos as I'm moving along.

Here is the beginning photo of what I started with. It was extremely grimey and I spent 2 5 hour days degreasing and power washing everything from floor to ceiling. Ceiling height ranges from 19ft to 22ft.

After a 30 hour weekend this is where I got to. I lost my helper so had to do it all by myself which really slowed me down. I am taking a vacation day friday to finish up the back wall and then plan on getting the siding done over the weekend.

Took the car lift up last night and having a steel cover plate made for the hole today. There are only 8 bolts that old the lift on so I will put it on the rack and can pull it down and put it back on when needed. Took about 10-15 minutes to dismantle so wasn't bad at all.
