Hi all, I have an older, (95), 272 and I wondered if anyone has found a beudget alternative to replacing the entire windshield assembly when it's damaged beyond repair, (tree limb falling on it).

The boating budget is limited at this time, so I'd be interested in any feedback from people who've been in the same situation and have come up with an innovative solution !

I'm contemplating just running without it, but it looks a little 'different'; very 'unfinished'.

there are no " cheap / inexpensive " alternatives that is probably the most expensive part on the boat next to engines

Thanks, I was afraid of that. Maybe it's time to make a plywood former, grab some lexan and break out the heat gun
