Default Suggestion needed - US weather service

Hi,
I am trying to organize a trip from NY along the US east coast.

I need a good weather service that provides 24h updates, gps tracking, and keeps us informed on weather forecast along my route.

I come from Italy, so I know all of them in Europe but I need a suggestion on which one is best for US atlantic coast.

Thank you

Roberto

weather.com or weatherunderground.com. Both have phone apps as well. Otherwise tune your ship to shore radio into I think its channel 16 for weather.

You Marine Radio will have 10 NOAA weather channels, just tune in the clearest one and that will be for area's weather. They update just as fast if not faster than the Internet sites.

Ch16 is initial vessel contact and emergency channel.

I use MyCast Weather on my droid and you can count on it being unfailingly wrong almost 100% of the time so i guess in a sense its a pretty good tool for predicting weather We actually joke about it within my group on how bad it really is lol

moslty i just use the lightning strike map, its kinda cool.
