Default Selling my 454mag, have freight questions, not a classified ad

I'm selling my Gen4 454 mag out of my Velocity and need some info to enter into ebay for freight quotes.
What pallet size is typically used for a 454 mag complete with manifolds? What is the average weight of this setup, carb to oil pan?

good question I would think a standard 4x4 pallet would work. as far as weight IDK. I would guess 500lbs.

On a standard 48"x 48" pallet, you are looking at 850-900 pounds.

Wink

Complete with weight of pallet or crate about 1000lbs. Get a good crate built, their only about $150 in a 42" long, 36" wide and 36" high inside sizes. They protect engine prevent damage in transit, avoid freight damage claims and MAD BUYERS ! Best $150 dollars you ever spent! Navis Pack & Ship in Kansas City for a crate.
Call Freightquote.com, they usually make some smok'in good rate quotes! don't forget to drain oil and water. If they leak in transit it usuallly stops shipping and results in big add fees!

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar
