Ok I think I have a power steering pump leak. Unless going through fluid is normal. Think I had to fill it twice last year. I dont see any leaking around the pump or at the back of the transom where it goes into the rams. I dont see any leaks in the bilge. Maybe its burning off on the block. Any insight here its a 454 pump is on starboard engine on the front, 91 fountain. Thinking about just replacing the pump but maybe its something else. Ideas things to look for.

check ehere the hose connects to the ps cooler,i had one that was leeking because the hose was old&had a small crack near the hose clamp.

Just had the same issue, well sort of. Mine was at the actuator the fed the rams. You shouldn't be going through power steering fluid. Are you losing it fast, slow???? If you have a slow leak, it may be hard to find.

my formula had a small leak at the cooler also, nipple was cracked

explain the cooler??? I filled it 2-3 times last summer and its almost empty now so basically 4 times in the last year.

Lucky guy, mine dumps all the fluid into the bilge in a matter of minutes ! I'm pretty sure it's the cooler but in my botched up installation it's a nightmare to get too.

from what I can see there is the resovior two lines come out of it then connect into the ram, is the cooler underneath.
