Going nuts here surfing the web trying to find out what v belts to use on a 97 454 mag carbed. I need all 3 belts...lengths and widths. Can anyone help...I am going to be purchasing through napa and don't want to buy every belt on the shelf to find the right one.

PS...is it true that using a nothched belt on the seawater pump is no good...I hear that the tensioner will cause the belt to split???

not to be a smart azz or anything... take the belts off and take them with you to NAPA NAPA KNOW HOw.

go on bam,s website,look up part numbers,and cross reference.

mine is a '90 454MAG, heres a pic i took of my belts when i had the engine out to rebuild it, advance auto was able to cross reference all three numbers and they were cheap, like $10ish a piece if i remember right?
