Last Monday I order 2 of the the Water Witches that Livorsi has listed.
http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...-o35281-en.htm
When I ordered I was told that they had plenty in stock.
I returned last night from a business trip to find my package waiting for my. I opened the package to find that they had sent me 1-12v switch (#217) and 1-24v switch (#230-24). I checked my packing slip and it showed 2-12v (#217) shipped. I though no big deal Livorsi is a reputable company and they will make it right.
I called for Customer Service this morning 2 different times and waited on hold for 20 min the first time and 10 min the second before being disconnected. I called back a 3rd time and left a voicemail with details and my order number.
I received a call back within an an hour and was told that the switches were clearance items and that there were no more 12v (#217) switches available. I was told that I would be given a refund on the switch that was shipped wrong after I shipped it back. I HAVE TO PAY THE SHIPPING!!! It is a $30 part that I have to pay the $10 return shipping on to get my refund.
It's just a few bucks but it was their issue and shouldn't cost me a dime.
Sad part for them is that I was going to order billet controls from them, looks like Latham will be getting that money.

That should put a dent in the Latham controls.

Call Mike up and I am sure the problem goes away.

I've done a lot of business with Livorsi with nothing but positive results. They are fantastic to do business with. Todd typically handles my orders with incredible customer service. As mentioned above, I'm sure Mike will take care of you.

Mike has emailed me back personally. I'm sure the with Livorsi's reputation that this is an isolated incident and not a normal business practice.
I dont think that anyone on here would disagree that it is very poor Customer Service for a company to ship you the wrong part then require you to eat the return shipping, no matter what the cost, in order to get a refund. All that I am asking for is to have them to send a call tag for the part or a refund of the return shipping along with a refund of the original purchase price of the part.
I'm sure Mike will make it right now that he is involved and I will update this thread.
