Default Galvenized and Autosol

Was looking at my galvenized trailer tongue jack the other day. The thing was looking very drab and was definately not in keeping with the new aluminum wheels on the trailer......was going to replace it........$130.......took it off and went at it with the Autosol, came up like highly polished chrome.......the stuff is amazing............Doug.

What is Autosol and where can you get it my trailer is galvanized and it would be cool to make it shine, did you have to buff it or is this something you just wipe on?

Thanks,
Caleb

Im north of the border here and we can get it at Canadian Tire which are on every corner, it comes in a tube and yes you have to buff......alot, have LOTS of rags. A whole trailer would be a huge undertaking, you might want to pick away at it however, maybe the tongue one day, a fender the next etc. You might be able to get a buffer going although Ive never tried it. In the states I would try Napa or PepBoys or something like that..........Doug

Autosol is made in Germany
and has a website, WWW.
autosol.com
Used it on Stainless headers I built years ago.
Best stuff for cleaning
S.S. I have seen, Its not
at Pep Boys any more.
Comes in Black/Gold tube.

Try Semichrome polish found at motorcycle shops.
