Default 1/2 Ton Crew Cabs...

Looking at a couple trucks this weekend....07 Silverado 4wd with the Vortex Max 6.0 liter and may look at an 07 Tundra. Looking for a 1/2 ton crew cab 4wd and not sure what I want to do. Looking in the low to mid 20's for cost.

Thoughts???

I love my Tundra, will tow anything I would ever need. 6spd trans, 10.5" ring gear incredibly thick, and giant brakes! Plus a nice interior with plenty of room in doublecab, and like a limo in crewmax. I paid 21 for my 07 5.7 Sr5 with xsp package 30k miles two years ago.

I drive a 2010 Ford F150 Crew Cab 4x4, 5.4L V8, 3.55 Ratio pretty much daily. Truck is great. I'm comfortable pulling anything less than 8,500 lb range. If it is just me, my wife, not pulling or hauling & I run a steady 65 MPH on highway, light on the pedal, I get right at 19-20 MPG on Hwy.

One of the things I love about my Tundra is the 4.30 rear gear, that combined with the 381hp bone stock, make it a rocketship of a pickup. I've run as low as 14.4 in the quarter in full street trim with 3/4 tank of fuel.
