So I just ran across this ebay ad. I am not knocking the boat, but am the guy who owned it... It appears to be a nice boat (maybe a bit overpriced), but Seriously? Mailbox Numbers for your Registration Stickers? This drives me nutz!!!!!
You should never be shopping at Home Depot for anything for your boat (maybe some stainless hardware if in a pinch), especially registration numbers......... Makes you wonder if there is a drywall screw somewhere in the boat

I agree. Block letters suck. Except that the law states: "Numbers must be bold, block letters of good proportion. Numbers must not be less than three inches high."
And with the boarder patrol situation I'm not giving them any reason to pull me over. If you get too fancy it's like a tail light out on your car. My last 3 boats had stick on block letters but my new one has them painted on but they're still a decent block.

You should see what I see when I restore some of these boats. It's crazy what some people will do. I remember one boat had 4 tops installed on it over the years. Every time they installed new studs and snaps and left the old. Looked like someone shot it with a shot gun.
and don't even get me started on holes in the hull. Between screw holes, wires and tubes going through the transom at one time or another the last boat I restored had 78 different holes to be repaired in the transom.
PS, The Home Depot in Annapolis has a whole boat section. I have a hard time finding a SS bolt at my H.D. store just 15 miles up the street.

Mailbox numbers..aren't those made out of aluminum? Now it needs a "Thunder" emblem for the engine. Just trim off the "bird" part.
