Default Installed new shocks and now traction control light is on?

2010 Yukon w/o Autoride, I installed a pair of rear shocks (RS9000) and now I get a warning light saying traction control is off and stabiltrak is off and service is required for both, ABS light is also on, is there a reset or something I need to do? This cant be a coincidence can it?

dumb question but there wasnt any sensors or anything changed so how would it know the difference and cause an issue with these systems?

That is probably all related to your abs light, get it scanned and follow that sensor wiring to find the problem

Thanks, Is the ABS sensor on the axle right by the brake hub? I searched online and this seems to happen often when replacing shocks but I havent seen anyone say why? I didnt even remove the tires,

I think the autoride systems have sensors telling the computer at what level the truck is sitting...if it sits too high it lets air out of the bags....if too low then it pumps them up...your new shocks may be jacking the back of the truck up higher then normal and the computer cant compensate for it and thus throwing codes. PM Boatnt...he is a GM tech and can probably shed some better light on it for ya

Default fixx

you may have over extended the sensor wire and it most likely broke a wire inside the black rubber..

may sound completely insane, but make sure you don't have a penny or a dime or something jammed down in your cigarette lighter...

Probably wheel speed sensor have to put a scanner on it and see which wheel is not reading , GMs seem to be very sensitive .

found it, I knocked off the abs connector that sits right on top of the frame by the upper shock mount, I must have knocked it loose when reaching up there with the ratchet.

Anyway, I towed the boat today with the new shocks and what a difference, Thanks for the suggestion!
