Default Blown 502 cooling / oil temp questions

Hi guys,
I'm currently building a 502 with a b&m 250 blower. I have a couple questions regarding oil coolers and my crossover.

My crossover is set up for a bypass but connecting a hose to the b&m waterneck might not be possible because of how close the 2 are now. Do you guys think should I figure out some way to hook up the bypass and on a blown application should I run a t-stat and is the bypass needed.

The other question is about oil coolers. I know I need to upgrade from my stock 454/330hp cooler to something bigger and better for this new motor. I really like the Mr. Cool 3x18 oil/ps cooler (rated for 700hp) that has an oil thermostat in it.......any thoughts on Mr. Cool coolers guys?
