Any Biddle and Tracy Blumenstein were near faultless as they guided their P1 Panther around the 1.7 mile course to claim the first clean sweep in the championships short history.
The day was not without its excitement however, with Blake and Brock Gratton in Peters & May pushing hard for valuable championships points, turned their boat over on turn four of the first lap in heat 3, nearly taking out Bill and Elijah Kingery in MYCO.
Jorge Arellano and John Hanson in Ocala Gran Prix showed good pace in Heat 4, recording the fastest lap time, however could not keep it up for the entire race, finishing in 6th place.
The P1 SuperStock USA Championship moves to Pittsburgh in June for Round 3.

LIVORSI LEADS BILOXI GRAND PRIX OF THE SEA

Andy Biddle and Tracy Blumenstein (Livorsi) completed a flawless first day in Biloxi, winning Heats 1 and 2 following a dominant display in the Match Racing.

Jack's
Following their third place in St Cloud three weeks ago, Livorsi showed they are a force to be reckoned with this season with an outstanding display on day one of the Biloxi Grand Prix of the Sea in front of thousands of fans at the annual Smokin' on the Sound festival.
But Blake and Brock Gratton of Peters & May and Eric Treadwell and Jason Roesh of Pier57, who battled for 1st and 2nd respectively in Round 1 are hot on the heels of the early leaders. With fine weather forecast for Biloxi tomorrow, there should be some great racing.
Now we've got a bit of seat time we got a feel of how the boat rides. What she likes, what she doesn't like, we just have to keep it up tomorrow.
Andy Biddle - Livorsi

Heat 1 saw some fiercely competitive racing as the teams pushed hard for victory, but it was almost impossible to catch Livorsi, who after claiming the Match Racing title and pole position led from start to finish. Only a mistake by the leaders would allow the other boats back in the race and with Biddle and Blumenstein learning from their time in the P1 Panther in St Cloud, they were not going to let go of the lead easily. Another good race for father and son team, Bill and Elijah Kingery (MYCO) who claimed third place.
With the positions reversed on the grid for Heat 2, Andy Biddle and Tracy Blumenstein (Livorsi) carved through the field of seven P1 Panthers to claim their third chequered flag of the day and the overall lead going in to tomorrow's final heats. Ocala Gran Prix could only manage fourth after starting in second on the grid, while the new crew of Michael Sadlon and John Catsoulis of OCM struggled to find the pace of the other teams, with a 7th place in both heats.

Not sure of total boat count. In Powerboat P1 there were 8 boats in the class.
